Nursing homes provide essential services that must be protected at all times, including those extraordinary occasions we call emergencies or disasters.

 

All nursing homes should be prepared for any incident, ranging from an internal emergency that affects only one facility to a massive, regional disaster that simultaneously affects many healthcare facilities and the community.
